Event Description
In association with the Nordic Network for Gender, Body and Health (https://genderbodyhealth.wordpress.com/).
This two-day workshop will explore the specific interaction between bodies and assistive technologies through a set of cross-disciplinary conversations. Presentations will cover: the theorization of technologized embodiment; prostheses and function; robotics and telepresence; ideas of normal and ordinary assistance; the phenomenology of assisted experience; and questions of care. Participants will be members of the itDf team and members and affiliates of the Nordic Network.
